The last piece of Aaron Tippin information I ran across was in the 06 March 2001 issue of Country Weekly. Located on the TV Highlights, under CMT (Country Music Television) was a listing of MARCH SHOWCASE ARTISTS. Aaron is one of four listed for the month of March. I don't know whether this is a repeat of the October Showcase or a new edition. I also don't know exactly when Aaron is to be broadcast. As I find out more, I will let you know. The four artists listed (in the order they are listed) are:  Lonestar, Clint Black, Gary Allen, AARON TIPPIN. Showtimes are:  Tuesday (10am; 10pm), Friday (11:30pm), Saturday (12:30pm), Sunday (7:30pm).

I was lucky enough to catch a couple more shows this last weekend; this is my busy season at work so getting to a show is tough this time of the year. But, where there's a will; there's a way. Aaron is worth every mile. And, what better place to see a show than Aaron's home turf:  Columbia, SC and Spartanburg, SC.

Apparently before Aaron got his break in Nashville, he played a lot of the clubs in and around Spartanburg, SC; Spartanburg is only about 20 minutes from Greenville, SC. Both venues were packed and the crowds were rockin'.

As a special treat.... In Spartanburg, Thea, Charla, Teddy and Thomas Aaron came out on stage to sing KISS THIS with Aaron. Interesting note:  Remember Aaron's brown tour bus? Aaron's family and several band/crew family members came to Spartanburg on that bus. No surprise that it still runs! ~Chuckle~

You have got to check out the new show.  Saw it at the Carolina Stampede
in Winston-Salem, NC.
It's awesome!!!  Course, we, the fans have come to expect nothing less; you will not be disappointed.  Aaron and the guys are terrific.
And boy, is Aaron lookin' good....  Oh my...  ~Chuckle~

For the time being, because it's so early in the season, I'm not going to ruin the surprises.
There are quite a few!  Rotten, huh??  You just have to see it for yourself.

I will tell you this:  Aaron sings both the songs, KISS THIS and PEOPLE LIKE US from the new CD, PEOPLE LIKE US.  And, he does an excellent job, I might add.

PLEASE NOTE:   As many of you may have noticed, the Official Fan Forum can no longer be located. Since I've gotten several emails requesting information on the disappearance on the Fan Forum on Aaron's Official Fan Site, I contacted Billy Craven, Aaron's business manager, regarding this issue. Per Billy, the Official Site has decided to remove the Fan Forum and resurrect the email to Aaron:

Aaron's Official Site is in the process of being updated to reflect this change; his Official Site is now being manned full-time. Make sure to check back often; you should be able to access the email page more readily soon. And, if you have any concerns, please send Aaron an email. Because the venues feel most of the fans attending Aaron's shows are local, usually they provide local numbers. PLEASE NOTE:   It is still very early in the season, so dates are subject to change.

I also have several phone numbers I have not listed. It is because either I couldn't get a response (consequently, I'm not sure the number is correct) or the venue has NOT confirmed Aaron's booking. REMEMBER, IT IS STILL VERY EARLY IN THE SEASON; DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

CHECK IT OUT:   Aaron's Official Website's Tour Schedule has been updated!! And, boy, have there been a lot of dates added, both on the east and west coast. I also understand this year is going to start off with a brand new show. I'm sure that there we be more added in the future.

Hopefully, y'all will get a chance to catch Aaron's show close to your home, or in the case of some of us, not so close to home. ~Chuckle~ I know you will not be disappointed. He consistently puts on one of the most dynamic and energetic shows I have ever had the pleasure to see.
