Aaron Tippin March 2004 Aaron Tippin was the guest of honor at the Tennessee Aeronautics Commission Meeting on Thursday (20 Mar 03), where General Bob Woods presented him with an American flag which had been flown over the capital, in honor of his patriotic efforts. Over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2002, Tippin and his band entertained troops stationed at Operation Enduring Freedom Forward Operating Bases, performing free shows, signing autographs and mingling with troops in Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Qatar.
