Aaron Tippin Headed To Afghanistan For USO Tour

Nashville, TN - Country singer/songwriter Aaron Tippin will be headed to Afghanistan November 23rd through December 3rd for a Thanksgiving USO Tour. Although the exact locations must remain under wraps for security purposes, the singer will be playing for US troops in several areas within the country.
The American Red Cross recently invited Aaron Tippin to join them in commemorating the events of September 11 by organizing a special nationwide simulcast of Tippin's patriotic song, Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly. The simulcast will take place on Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at 9:11 a.m. to pay tribute to the enduring strength of the American people. The airing of the song will be followed by a brief public service announcement from the Red Cross. Aaron Tippin, Lyric Street Records and others associated with the commercial single of Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly donated proceeds to the Disaster Relief Fund of Nashville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Aaron Tippin's new album, titled Stars & Stripes, will be released on Lyric Street Records on September 10, 2002. Stars & Stripes contains the patriotic hit Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly as well as Tippin's current single, If Her Lovin' Don't Kill Me, which is currently at country radio.
