Aaron Tippin will be taking his brand of American music to Afghanistan from November 23 through December 3 for a Thanksgiving USO tour. &nbsap;Although the exact locations of his tour are remaining under wraps for security purposes, the singer will be playing for U.S. troops in several areas within the country.

Meanwhile, the American Red Cross recently invited Tippin to join them in commemorating the events of September 11 by organizing a special nationwide simulcast of his patriotic song, "Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly."  The simulcast will take place on September 11 at 9:11 a.m. to pay tribute to the enduring strength of the American people.  The airing of the song will be followed by a brief public service announcement from the Red Cross.

Tippin, Lyric Street Records, and others associated with the commercial single of "Where The Stars And Stripes and The Eagle Fly" donated proceeds to the Disaster Relief Fund of Nashville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Tippin's new album, titled Stars & Stripes, will be released on Lyric Street Records on September 10.
