Sept. 4, 2002: Aaron Tippin will be headed to Afghanistan for the holidays. The singer will appear there Nov. 23 through Dec. 3 for a Thanksgiving USO tour. Although the exact locations must remain under wraps for security purposes, the singer will be playing for US troops in several areas within the country.
The American Red Cross also recently invited Tippin to join them in commemorating the events of September 11 by organizing a special nationwide simulcast of TippinÕs patriotic song, "Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly."
The simulcast will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002 at 9:11 a.m. to pay tribute to the country.
