-- Although a recent Aaron Tippin concert in Norfolk, VA was postponed due to heavy rain, the day was not a complete wash-out. He was invited by the HC2 Desert Ducks Squadron to take a ride on the actual H3 Naval Helicopter that President John F. Kennedy once flew on.
Later, Tippin and his four year old son Teddy were treated to a tour of the docked "USS San Francisco" attack class submarine which is about to be dispatched to Guam.
Teddy was awed by the size of the submarine, calling it "humongous, gigantic" -- it was bigger than our whole house!"
Tippin will be heading to Afghanistan for a Thanksgiving USO tour, playing for US troops in several areas within the country.
