TIPPIN FLYING RUSSIAN PLANE
A few years ago, it might have seemed unpatriotic to fly a Russia airplane.
But now that they are our buddies, Aaron Tippin is enjoying flying his
Russian-made 1985 Wilga. The Wilga is an airplane that was used
in the Soviet Union for low altitude reconnaissance and forward observation
artillery shot placement. Aaron has been flying all around Liberty and
Smithville, TN: "Folks just love the noise the big radial engine makes!"
