WOW!! What a great time I had in California! Great weather; NO humidity! Got to see eight shows in twelve days and visit with family and friends.

San Joaquin Fair, Stockton (2), CA ~ 22 JuneTeddy came with Aaron and the guys the first several shows. He is getting to be a real 'showman,' just like his daddy. Thea and Thomas fly out to Konocti Harbor and spent the next several days, including Father's Day, with Aaron and Teddy. By the way, I got to see Aaron with Teddy and Thomas at the kiddie pool in Konocti Harbor. Really cute, but I did not take any photos; that was Aaron's family time. Thea also has family on the west coast, so I'm sure it was fun for them, especially since Aaron and the guys were out west the entire month of June. Teddy flew home with Thea and Thomas after the Sonoma-Marin Fair.
The highlight of my California trek was that I hit my 300th Aaron Tippin show at the San Joaquin Fair in Stockton. What a surprise when Aaron announced on stage as he began his encore that a fan from Delaware, the other side of the country, had hit 300 shows. He then turned to me and said, 'Thanks, Judi.' I cannot begin to tell you what a thrill that was. Thank you, Aaron. The pleasure has been all mine.

I took quite a few photos in California. Needless, to say, I have not gotten them all developed, but hopefully I got some good ones. As I do, I will add them to this website. (Two shows, Sonoma-Marin Fair and Del Mar Fair, did not allow photos, but I may have gotten a couple before I was aware of their rules.)
Per Aaron's Official Site: Aaron has finished recording a new CD for Lyric Street Records. The CD is scheduled for release July 25, 2002. The title of the CD is 'I Believed.' The CD will feature five songs co-written by Aaron including the hit 'Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly.'
FYI: Included on that same page is a terrific photo of Aaron, Thea and Teddy with Kevin Denny at the ACM awards show. Aaron's former tour manager and present business manager, Billy Craven, is managing Kevin Denny.
New CD Released By RCA ~ Aaron Tippin: RCA Country Legends
11 June 2002, is the scheduled release date of Aaron Tippin: RCA Country Legends. Country Legend is certainly an apt title for both Aaron and his music. The CD includes 16 original older songs which have been remastered (RCA is Aaron's former label). The CD includes both very familiar hits that you will be sure to remember and some you may have not heard in quite a while. The song list for Aaron Tippin: Country Legends is as follows:
