North American Hunter Magazine

Finally...  I have some news on the North American Hunter article on Aaron that I mentioned back in March.  It is in the Nov 2001 issue and is titled 'Aaron Tippin Walks His Talk.'  Because there are hunters in my family, I have a subscription to the magazine; therefore, I received an issue through the mail.  I am not sure whether the magazine is available on newstands nor if single issues are available to non-members.  To inquire, their phone number is:  (800) 922-4868, 7:30am-6pm CT.  In case you're interested, there is a 3-month trial membership available on their website.  Go to:

North American Hunting Club.

Note of Interest:  Aaron told me he bagged an 8-point buck recently.  Cool.  I should have asked, but didn't....I still get addled-brained around him.  I assume he used a compound bow and arrow; I know he was practicing with a compound bow at a recent show.  One other note of interest:  Did you know that even though Aaron is right-handed, he uses a compound bow left-handed?

Single Release:  Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly!

Don't forget:  Tomorrow, 02 October 2001 is the release date for Aaron's latest single, 'Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly.'  Make sure you run, do not walk, to your nearest local record store.  This new single is going to just fly off the shelves.  Aaron's management brought 250 CDs to his show last Saturday.  Every copy was gone before the end of the night!  Also, don't forget:  All proceeds are to be donated to help the victims of the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.  To view the cover insert (Oh my....), click here:

Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly.

Saturday, I had the privilege of seeing Aaron in Hiawassee, GA.  As you know, Aaron has added 'Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly' to his show.  When he sings this song, you can just feel the American pride permeate the venue; it is a really emotional moment.  If at all possible, try to make one of Aaron's shows before the year's end.  You will not be disappointed.  He has also added a little different twist to his final number.  I'm not going to spoil the surprise, but boy, does it fit!

DeKalb County Rallies For America ~ Video, Article

I want to pass on some exciting information I ran across through a contact I have in Tennessee:  Aaron first performed his new patriotic song live, 'Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly,' at a rally near his home in Smithville, TN, on 18 Sep 2001.  That rally was called DeKalb County Rallies For America.  Thousands came to the Square in Smithville to show their support for America and show that they will not be held hostage by terrorism.  The evening ended with Aaron debuting his new song, 'Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly.'; Thea, his wife also performed, singing "The Star Spangled Banner" during the rally.

Now for the exciting news!  This rally was videotaped.   You will be able to purchase a this video containing footage of Aaron's debut live performance, as well as Thea's performance, with the proceeds going to charity.  As soon as I get the final information on the sale of these tapes, I will post that information; I should have the information by next week.

In addition, The Middle Tennessean Times contains a nice insert covering the DeKalb County Rallies For America.  Included are a photo of Aaron and a photo of Thea.  Copies are still available.  If you would like a copy of the The Middle Tennessean Times, 25 sep 2001 edition, containing the insert covering the rally, you can contact them at:

Phone:  (615) 597-2100

New Single Release

I just received an email (also see previous post) from Country.com regarding a link to the news article on Aaron's new release benefiting the Red Cross relief efforts arising from last week's crisis.  Click on:

Tippin Records Patriotic Song To Help Red Cross

To quote Aaron:  "This song is an opportunity to speak to people.  I hope it will be an inspiration to the soldiers, the men and women about to be [soldiers] and the Americans at home."

If you remember, Aaron began his career in Nashville with 'You've Got To Stand For Something,' an inspiration to our soldiers during the Gulf War.  I don't think there can be any more fitting inspiration than Aaron and his music during our present crisis.

We love you, Aaron!
