** 7th ANNUAL MARK COLLIE CELEBRITY RACE **

Aaron is confirmed to participate in the 7th Annual Mark Collie Celebrity Race for Diabetes Cure scheduled on Wednesday, 11 October 00; Aaron has participated in this event for several years. This celebrity motosports event takes place at Nashville Speedway, USA. In the past, this race has been telecast at a later date on TNN.

The event consists of two days of fun and excitement with country music performers, NASCAR legends, sports celebrities, and NASCAR fathers and sons. Since the first Mark Collie Celebrity Race for Diabetes Cure in 1994, more than $1,100,000 has been raised to establish programs at Vanderbuilt University Medical Center, a leader in the field of diabetes reserarch. Check it out! KISS THIS is the #1 video on Great American Country (GAC) for the week of 29 September 00. Make sure, if ya get GAC, ya watch the Great American Country's Top 15 Videos this week. Caught Aaron in the #1 position last night on GAC. The current line-up will play all this upcoming week.

By the way, KISS THIS is currently #4 on Country Music Television (CMT) and #3 on the Billboard Charts.

Apparently, Aaron is shooting a new video today in Los Angeles for the next single, PEOPLE LIKE US. And, just as in the last video shoot, fans from the West Coast have been invited to appear in this video. Cool..... Thanks for the info, Ruth, Shawn and Chris. And, Shawn, you and your husband enjoy yourself; we want to hear all about it.

I do not have any information on the release date.... So, remember to continue requesting KISS THIS until that time.

PLEASE NOTE: Have ya noticed the new look to the entrance page on Aaron's Official Fan Site? Also, the Tour Schedule and What's Hot have been updated. There are many more changes to come; they are in the works now. So, make sure you check the Official Site often.

PS: As of 01 September, my cable company, in its infinite wisdom, has decided to remove CMT from its lineup. Bummer! Direct TV, here I come????


** OOPS! AARON'S GUNSHOP IN TENNESSEE! **
05 SEPTEMBER 00

Oops! Guess I jumped the gun (~Chuckle~) on the renovations to Aaron's gunshop in Tennessee. Renovations are still underway and will not be completed for another month or so. The store is, however, in the new location (I know, I stopped by during Fan Fair), 1 mile West of Smithville:

Dowellton, TN

and open for business.....so make sure, if y'all are down that way, to stop by.

PS: I will be adding new concert photos in the near future, hopefully several this weekend. I am way behind on scanning photos from the last several shows. I could certainly use a 36 hour day, if anyone would like to spare a few hours. ~Chuckle.~
