Children have a chance to win a hunting trip with country music star Aaron Tippin, and the adventure will end up on television.

Safari Club International is teaming with the Outdoor Channel, Field and Stream Radio and Outdoor Life Radio to offer the opportunity.

Youths ages 12 to 18 are eligible to win an all-expenses-paid whitetail deer hunting trip Jan. 5 through 9 at Tippin’s ranch near Smithville, Tenn. The entry deadline is Nov. 30.

Register online at Safari Club’s Web site.

You can mail your child’s entry on a postcard to: “Take a Kid Hunting,” The Outdoor Channel, 43445 Business Park Drive, Suite 103, Temecula, CA 92590. Include the names of the adult guardian and youth, the home address for the adult, the youth’s date of birth, and day and night phone numbers.

The winner will be determined by a drawing on or about Dec. 31.

The hunt will be filmed by The Outdoor Channel for a special to be aired during the 2004 season.

The winner gets round-trip air transportation, four days and three nights lodging, two days hunting and Tennessee hunting license, sightseeing and other activities. The retail value of the trip is $2,500.
